What to Expect
Ladakh plateau is located above 3000 m if your reaching by flight you need at least one day full day for acclimatization you can walk on arrival day and explore the main market of Leh. Keeping hydrated is very important while in Ladakh. Ladakh has number of hotels ranging from budget to luxury. Summer is the season for traveling to Ladakh and Zanskar. There are some winter trek circuits like frozen river trail of Zanskar River and Chadar Trek and witness the frozen waterfall. The temperature in winter lies between -15° – 2° C and peak summer ranges from 30° to 10° C.

Morning after breakfast leave for day tour to Panamik & Sumur Village, The top tourist attraction in Panamik is the hot springs. While there are other famous hot water springs across the country, for example, Bakreshwar in West Bengal & Manikaran, this is the only “hot springs village” in India. The hot spring water in Panamik contains high amounts of Sulphur, and is believed to possess a lot of medicinal properties. A lot of tourists, and locals, take a dip in the water, despite its being quite hot, as it is said to cure skin diseases & rheumatism. Sumur is a small village and a popular base for exploring the valley. At an elevation of just 3,100m, it’s one of the lowest points in Ladakh, and you can feel the difference. Especially after going over the Khardung La pass -where giddiness temporarily sets in, you will personally find it far easier to breathe in the valley compared to the Leh.

Morning after breakfast Leave from Nubra Valley towards to Turtuk Village. A remote village of about 4,000 residents, inhabited by ethnic Muslims, a few kilometres from the ‘line of control’ (the de facto border) between India and Pakistan on the Indian side. Until 1971 a part of Baltistan, shared strong economic and cultural ties with Tibet. The residents speak Baltistani, and some Ladakhi and English. By late evening return to Nubra Valley for overnight Stay.

Early morning after breakfast we leave for Pangong Lake via Wari La/Shyok route Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). A long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometers at its widest point and over 130km long, it is bisected by the international border between India and China. A few years back the government decided to open it to tourists though the lake and its surrounding is under army surveillance. Enjoy the landscape in the back drop of the Lake.
