What to Expect

The 9 days program takes you through the wild side of India with the rich Indian cultural taking you to UNESCO world heritage site of Khajuraho the famous for Hindu and Jain temples in Madhya Pradesh. The best of wildlife experience and rich in flora and fauna with some of the best wildlife park like Bandhavgarh and Kanha located centrally which is also known as the heart of India. This biodiversity is well preserved for national importance.

  • The best season to visit these parks is October to March. The parks remain closed during monsoon season.
  • This tour package is purely for those who loves wildlife. During Safari you will come across many birds and animals’ species including the Tiger.
  • Take proper medical first aid along with you, highly recommend are Odomas, Water purifying tablets or gadgets, torch with spare batteries, Rain coat of good quality, Proper Trekking shoes, 3-4 pair of shocks, Hand gloves, Sunglasses, Sunscreen lotion, face and hand cream, lots of chocolates, toffees.
  • Keep mosquito repellent with you.
  • Take MSD card it is truly a photographer’s paradise. Camera with zoom lenses are always a winners here.
  • Follows the rules and regulations of the forest department. Do not photograph of restricted places.
  • Basic canteen available near the safari office.
  • Look out for Parakeets, Nuthatches, barbets and other birds on trees around the place.
  • There is a small wildlife museum that is worth watching before or after the safari.
  • Use the paid toilets located behind car parking.
  • Enjoy the nature and surroundings in a responsible manner.
  • Do not feed the monkeys, deer, wild boar or any wildlife that you see near the safari office as feeding wildlife is harmful to them as well as you
  • Do not litter the place
  • Do not venture in the jungle on foot.
  • Don’t over speed or park your vehicle in middle of the forest
  • Don’t make noise or disturb other travelers.
  • Don’t pester the forest officials for out of turn safari tickets

Day 01: New Delhi- Khajuraho (Overnight train Kurukshetra-Khajuraho Exp)

Board the overnight train to Khajuraho. Overnight train.

Day 02: Khajuraho Arrival

Upon arrival transfer to the Khajuraho Hotel. Later in the afternoon visit to eastern and western group of temples. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 03: Khajuraho – Bandhavgarh (253 km)

After breakfast proceed Bandhavgarh National Park. On arrival hotel check in. Evening bon fire and local cultural program. Overnight at Bandhavgarh.

Day 04: Bandhavgarh

Early morning proceeds for Jungle exploration for your first day of wildlife Adventure tour on elephant back and Jeeps. Bird watching and a walk to the fort. Return to the hotel breakfast. Lunch and free time to explore surrounding and birds watching. PM: Afternoon another round of jungle safari. (Wednesday closed). Overnight at Bandhavgarh.

Day 05: Bandhavgarh – Kanha (285 kms)

After breakfast drive to Kanha National Park. Drive to Kanha National Park and overnight at Kanha Jungle Lodge.

Day 06: Kanha

Early morning embarks onto to Jungle exploration on elephant back / Jeep. Safari on Elephant is truly world class experience in wildlife tour. Return to the hotel Breakfast and free time. Take another afternoon shift of Jungle.

Day 07: Kanha – Nagpur (Onward journey)

After breakfast transfer to Nagpur Airport or railway station for onward journey.
