Besides this there are many attractions on the way while traveling from Deogarh to Bodhgaya these are places of great historical importance, Nalanda the ancient the most developed Nalanda University now a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE, the Pawapuri Jal Mahal a Jain Teerth Sthal Pawapuri is the place of Mahavira‘s nirvana and a pilgrimage site for Jains. Rajgir the seat of great Buddha and Lord Mahavira both they taught their beliefs in Rajgir during 6th and 5th Century BC, Lord Buddha was welcomed here in Rajgir by King Bimbisara and it became the most favourite preaching locations.

The Sarnath was the place where lord Buddha gave first sermon after attaining enlightenment in Bodhgaya. And of course, the Bodhgaya is the most important place in the life of Bodhgaya here under the pipal tree he attained the enlightenment. The Mahabodhi temple is the place he found the truth about the life cycle, the cause of unhappiness. What to Expect

The land of Buddha, Jainish and Hinduism is what the package offers. The short duration packages cover two of the 12 Jyotirlinga of Kashi and Deogarh, the preaching and enlightenment place of Lord Buddha and the Nirvana of Lord Mahavira at Pawapuri. The other attractions includes visiting of Vishnupad ancient temple of Gaya, The Tirkut Hills of Deogarh, baba Basukinath Temple and the great ancient university of Nalanda, the Rajgir Shanti Stupa by ropeway.

In Rajgir you can glass skywalk at Rajgir and even you can Zipline and do trekking to the places like Jain Path of 8 kms which will take you to multiple temples, stupas and palaces of worship to Jain religion. Trek to Gridhrakuta-Sugarakhata cave-Ashoka’s Stupa, Saptparni caves etc.

  • Taste the Liti Chokha a famous cuisine now worldwide in Gaya.
  • The best way to explore the Gaya and Bodhgaya is by autorickshaw which is more accessible to the places of attractions rather your car.
  • Handicrafts material of Gaya is very famous. You will get Gamcha and Bed Sheets at a very cheap price particular if you are buying in bulk. Wood craft of Gaya is very different from existing wood craft check if in Gaya.
  • The Khaza and Peda a local sweet of these regions are worth buying the self-life is from 8 to 10 days if the item is freshly made.

 Kashi Vishwanath Temple Timings:

  • The Kashi Vishwanath Temple opens daily at 2:30 AM and closes at 11 PM.
  • The Mangala Aarti is performed between 3 AM to 4 AM.
  • The mid-day Bhog Aarti is performed between 11:30 AM to 12 PM.
  • The Sapta Rishi Aarti is performed between 7 PM to 8:30 PM.
  • The Shringar Bhog and Aarti are performed at 9 PM.
  • The Shayan Aarti starts at 10:30 PM.
  • The general darshan timings are 4 AM to 11 AM, 12 PM to 7 PM, and from 8:30 PM to 9 PM.
  • After 9 PM, pilgrims are allowed to view the Lord from outside the sanctum.

Dress code:

Although there is no prescribed strict dress code for entering the Kashi Vishwanath Temple premises, it is advised to wear decent clothes to visit the shrine. Shorts and miniskirts are generally not encouraged.

Kashi Vishwanath Temple Sevas and Poojas:

The below Sevas are performed between 4 AM to 6 PM: (Subject to change)

Rudrabhishek – The Pooja is dedicated to Lord Shiva who is worshiped as fire or Rudra. The puja wipes out all sins and purifies the atmosphere. It also removes all sorts of planetary related ill-occurrences. The Mondays of the month, as well as the Pradosham days, are considered as ideal for performing the Pooja.

Maharudrabhishek – In the Abhishek, recitations of Rigveda, Samveda, Yajurveda and Atharva Veda is done in front of the deities of the Kashi Vishwanath Temple.

Laghurudrabhishek – This Abhishek is done to resolve issues related to health and wealth. It is also done to remove the bad effects of planets in the horoscope.

Shravan Somvar Pooja – The Mondays of the month of Shravan (July – August) are considered highly auspicious for worshiping Lord Shiva. Devotees observe Somvar Vrat during the Shravan month and perform Poojas in their homes.  The articles used for the worship are Bilva leaves, white flowers, water, honey, and milk. The charges for the Seva are Rs. 6251.

Lakh Vilvarchana – This Archana is performed by offering a lakh Bilva leaves to the Linga of the God.

Day 01: Arrival at Varanasi Airport/Railway station

Upon arrival at Varanasi Railway station/Airport/Deen Dayal Upadhya junction, you will be picked up and transfer to Varanasi hotel. Upon arrival hotel check-in and later visit to the main and ancient temple of Kashi, Kashi Vishwanath Temple one of the 12 Jyotirlinga Temple also visit Annapurna Devi Mandir. Time for Ganga Aarti and boating on River Ganges at Dashashwamedha Ghat. Overnight stay at Varanasi Hotel.

Day 02: In Varanasi

In the morning take early morning boat ride during sunrise and witness the Ghats of Varanasi Hindu performing rituals etc. Option of visiting Vishwanath Jyotirlinga darshan for Abhishekham and proceed for remaining sightseeing of Varanasi and sightseeing of Banaras Hindu University, Bharat Mata Mandir. Post afternoon proceed to Sarnath visit to ASI oldest museum where you can see the findings of excavations at site of Sarnath and have about 6,871 sculptures and artefacts the primary of them is Lion Capital of Ashoka and Bala Bodhisattava. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 03:Varanasi-Deogarh (Baba Baidhyanath Dham) -475 kms

After breakfast leave for Deogarh Baidhyanath. Upon arrival check into the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel near to baba Baidhyanath Dham.

Day 04: Deogarh

In the early morning around 5 Am visit to Baba Baidhyanath Jyotirlinga we can provide assistance of Pujari ji if requested. Return to the hotel breakfast and leave for Baba Basukinath Darshan and later we will explore the other versatile attractions of Deogarh cover the Tirkut Hills by Ropeway (subject to operational), Tapovan Hills and not so easy through boulders reach to Hanuman Ji Temple tie Dagha and return to the temple have darshan and proceed to Deogarh visit to Naulakha Temple -the temple was built 100 years ago with a cost of 9 lakhs hence is known as Naulakha Temple. Return to your hotel for night stay.

Day 05: Deogarh-Pawapuri-Nalanda-Rajgir-Dungeshwari Hill cave-Bodhgaya (278 kms)

After an early breakfast leave for Bodhgaya en route covering Pawapuri, Nalanda and Rajgir and Dungeshwari Temple and Hills Cave. The caves in Dungeshwari Hills are said to have protected Lord Buddha before he descended to Bodh Gaya. Before descending to the sacred town of Bodh Gaya, it is believed that this is the same cave (also called the Mahakala Caves), which protected Lord Buddha for six years, before he travelled to Bodh Gaya for attaining enlightenment These caves now house several temples which are widely visited by pilgrims who follow the trail of Lord Buddha’s journey. Upon arrival hotel check in. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 06: Bodhgaya and Gaya sightseeing

After breakfast leave for Vishnupad Temple located nearto Phalugu dry river for Ritual Pind Daan Puja. Later return to Bodhgaya and visit to Mahabodhi Temple, ASI Museum of Gaya visit to Sujata Village where Lord Buddha was fed Kheer by milkmaid from the village of Bakraur sitting under the Banyan Tree thus ending the fasting of seven years.  A Sujata Stupa or Sujata Garh as the local people called it is located here. Overnight stay at hotel in Bodhgaya.

Day 07: Bodhgaya Departure transfer to Railway station or you will be dropped at Varanasi

After breakfast you will be transferred to Gaya Junction for onward journey.
