The origin of the Himachal Tour package can be New Delhi, Chandigarh and Pathankot. All these destinations are well linked with Train, Air and Flight. Pathankot is not connected with commercial flight and one can take train further on arrival the guest can be picked up from there and transferred to Dalhousie or Dharamshala which is 90 kms at almost same distance.

In Dharamshala one can explore the Tibetan Culture and Monastery along with Tibetan Manuscripts, War Memorial, Dal Lake, Bhagsu Nag Temple and Falls where as the Dalhousie has more to explore like Khajjiar and Chamba. What to Expect

Day 01: Chandigarh Railway station/Airport- Shimla (195 kms/ 4.5 hours)

Pick up from the Chandigarh railway station/ Airport & proceed to Shimla. On Arrival hotel check in. Remaining day at leisure to scroll around the ridge and the Mall of Shimla. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Shimla

After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Shimla. Visit to Kufri & the high-altitude Zoo. Kufri is famous for winter skiing. Later will take you to Christ Church the second Oldest Church of North India-which was consecrated in 1857. It is a prominent yellow painted building with a Victorian-Gothic spire. Inside, some of the finest stained-glass windows in India depict faith, hope, charity, fortitude, patience, and humility, State Museum-The state museum is about 3 km from the city center. It has a good collection of statues, miniatures, photos, coins, and other items from around Himachal Pradesh and Shimla Ridge. Later visit to the mall in the evening Main shopping center of Shimla with departmental stores, ice-cream parlors, shawl shops, Gaiety theatres and many more which runs along the Ridge and is crowded with tourists. Lakkar Bazaar adjacent to the Ridge is popular for its wood crafts and souvenirs. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 03: Shimla – Manali (265 kms/7 hours)

Morning after breakfast drive to Manali through one of most scenic routes with stop en route for photography. Reach Manali en route Kullu famous for Raghunath temple, Bijli Mahadev temple visit to Akhara Market Kullu caps and woollen apparels such as shawls, pattoos, gudmas, puhlas and namdas or rugs. Arrive Manali hotel. Check into the hotel. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 04: Manali –Solang Valley and Atal Tunnel Trip

In the morning after breakfast, go on excursion to Solang Valley, Rohtang Pass is Closed from November to April, which is considered as the highest motor able road in the world. This pass connects the beautiful Spiti and Lahaul Valleys with the Kullu Valley.Solang Valley is a paradise for adventurist the are plenty of options seasonal wise. Later you will visit to Atal Tunnel highest highway tunnel above 10000 ft. Overnight stay night stay in Manali.

Day 05: Manali local sightseeing

After breakfast leave for a sightseeing tour of Manali. Dotted with beautiful Deodar and Pine trees, fruit orchards, Manali offers many adventurous activities like trekking, skiing, and mountaineering. You can visit some famous temples in the area. These include the Hadimba Temple, Old Manali and Manu Temple, the temple is dedicated to the goddess-turned-demoness Hadimba (or Hirimba), the wife of Bhima. It is said that Bhima fell in love with Hadimba, built in the 1553, the temple has pagoda-like roof that adds into the beauty of the place. Manu Temple- 3 kms. from the main bazar in old Manali lies the temple of MANU RISHI. It is believed that this is the only temple of Manu in India, who was the creator of human race on the earth. Vashisht Temple & Hot Spring, Van Vihar, Club House & Tibetan Monastery. In Old Manali, you will find old-style Pahari houses with wooden balconies. After exploring the local attractions of Manali, evening at leisure or stroll on the mall Road for shopping on own. Overnight in Manali.

Day 06: Manali-Dharamshala [217 kms/5 hours]

Morning after breakfasts proceed to Dharamshala. Upon arrival hotel check in. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Dharamshala stands at the foot of Dhauladhar and has a magnificent view of snowy peaks, deodar and pine forests, tea gardens and beautiful hills. Picturesque Dharamsala, built on a spur of the Dhauladhar range, commands splendid view of the surrounding country. While Lower Dharamsala (1,250 m) is the busy commercial area with government buildings, the bazar and the bus stand, Upper Dharamsala (1,982 m) has suburbs with evocative names like Forsyth Ganj and Macleodganj that are quite fascinating the residence of His Holiness Dalai Lama. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 07: Dharamashala

The Abode of Dalai Lama. Some of the attractions includes a must in your itinerary. The Kangra Art Museum is located south of Lower Dharamsala tourist office. It has miniature paintings from the Kangra School of Art, which prospered in the Kangra. The Library of Tibetan Works and Archives, housed in the Central Administration compound at the southern end of McLeod Ganj, has one of the world’s most comprehensive collections of original Tibetan manuscripts. Sightseeing of Macleodganj and visit to Monastery. Overnight at hotel.

Day 08: Dharamshala – Dalhousie (143 kms/4 hours)

After breakfast drive to Dalhousie a pleasant scenic driving criscrosing lakes and waterfalls. Dalhousie is one of the popular hill stations of Himachal Pradesh in the Chamba Valley its surrounded by lush green pines, deodars, Oaks and rhododendrom forest. Reach Dalhousie arrival at your hotel check in relax at the comfort of your room or simply scroll around the quaint market. Some of the most famous attractions are Satdhara and Barkota hills at an altitude of 2030 meters. Overnight at hotel.
